Parks and pavilions
Planning a Party at a Cherokee County Park
Many families host at a park pavilion. Cherokee Recreation & Parks rents pavilions at county parks such as Cherokee Veterans Park in Canton, Fields Landing Park on Lake Allatoona, Hobgood Park in the Towne Lake area, Long Swamp Recreation Area in Ball Ground and Patriot Park in Acworth. City parks are another option. Woodstock has Dupree Park and Olde Rope Mill Park, Canton has Etowah River Park and Boling Park, Holly Springs has J.B. Owens Park and Barrett Memorial Park, and Ball Ground has Calvin Farmer Park.
Before you book an inflatable for a park, keep three things in mind:
1. Check the park’s rules firstSome city parks require a permit for special events or organized groups. Reserving the pavilion, getting any permit and confirming that inflatables are allowed is the customer’s responsibility, so contact the park office first.
2. Plan for powerInflatables need an outlet within about 50 feet. Most park setup spots don’t have one, so plan on adding a generator to your order.
3. Tell us about the setup surfaceWe stake into grass and use sandbags on hard surfaces. Send a photo if you’re not sure.
